The RAS Pre Exam 2024 will take place on February 2 next year. The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) announced the exam date on Wednesday. A total of 733 positions are open for online applications starting from September 19. Out of these, 346 positions are for State Services and 387 for Subordinate Services.
Commission Secretary Ram Niwas Mehta stated that the last date to apply is October 18. The age limit, as of January 1, 2025, should be between 21 and 40 years.
RAS Mains Exam 2024
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) announced 905 vacancies for RAS on June 28, 2023, which has now increased to 972 positions.
- The RAS Pre-Exam was held on October 1, 2023, with 4,58,000 candidates appearing for it.
- The commission had released the model answer key and invited objections. A total of 2,200 candidates raised objections.
- After review by subject experts, 5 questions were deleted, and the answers to 3 questions were changed.
- The results of the pre-exam were announced on October 19, 2023, and a total of 19,400 candidates qualified for the mains exam.
- The RAS Mains 2023 exam was conducted on July 20 and 21, 2024, at 71 centers across 5 district headquarters.
How to Apply
Candidates need to visit the official website at https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in or log in via the SSO portal at https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in. After logging in, select the recruitment portal available under the Citizen App (G2C) and complete the One-Time Registration (OTR).
For first-time OTR, candidates must provide details such as their name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary or equivalent exam, and one ID proof from options like Aadhaar, PAN, voter ID, or driver’s license.
Once logged in, select the recruitment option available under the Citizen App (G2C) and apply online using your OTR number. After the OTR is completed, no modifications can be made to the profile.
