Procedure for Updating Aadhaar Card
1. Visit the Official Website: Navigate to the official Aadhaar card website and select your preferred language. The homepage of the Aadhaar website will then appear on your screen.
2. Access the Update Section: On the homepage, click on the “Update Demographics Data & Check Status” option. This will lead you to the login page. Enter your Aadhaar number and captcha code, then click on OTP. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, which you will use to log in.
3. Upload Documents: Click on the document update option. Your Aadhaar details will be displayed on the screen. Verify all the details, and then select a document from the list provided. Upload a valid document.
4. Submit and Receive Update Slip: After uploading the necessary document, click on submit. You will receive an Aadhaar update slip. It typically takes about one week for the Aadhaar update to be processed. You can check the status of your update using the number provided on the update slip.
